The Department of Human Morphology and Physiology was established in June 2024 and belongs to the Educational and Scientific Institute "European Medical School" of the International European University.
The main activities of the department are educational, scientific, and methodological work.
The primary goal of the department is to provide students with the opportunity to acquire a high-quality, modern understanding of basic preclinical disciplines using up-to-date educational approaches, the application of the latest technologies, and consideration of the current demands and requirements for world-class medical education.
The department offers a range of educational components, including:
- Human Anatomy;
- Clinical Anatomy;
- Histology, Cytology, and Embryology;
- Physiology;
- Biological and Bioorganic Chemistry;
- Pathomorphology;
- Pathophysiology.
Given the representation of almost all the department’s disciplines in the integrated test "KROK 1," which is a component of the Unified State Qualification Exam (USQE), special emphasis is placed on preparing students for the successful completion of this exam by developing original courses that utilize leading teaching methods.
The department's faculty includes 14 academic staff members, including: 4 professors, 7 associate professors, and 3 senior lecturers. All staff members hold academic degrees, highlighting their qualifications not only as educators but also as researchers.
The department is equipped with all the necessary tools to conduct lectures and practical classes in the university’s modern classrooms.
