The Department of Dermatology with a Course in HIV/AIDS, Dermatosurgery, and Aesthetic Medicine engages in educational, instructional-methodological, and scientific activities, along with international collaboration, as well as diagnostic, therapeutic-consultative, and mentoring work. As a clinical department, it integrates the theoretical training of students with practical work in medical institutions, focusing on dermatology, HIV/AIDS care, dermatosurgery, and aesthetic medicine.

THE DEPARTMENT'S MAIN GOALS:
- To provide students with in-depth knowledge in clinical dermatology, HIV/AIDS care, dermatosurgery, and aesthetic medicine;
- To train students in modern diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive approaches for dermatological conditions;
- To develop professional competencies required for effective practice in contemporary clinical settings;
- To ensure that interns and specialists receive advanced training in dermatology, HIV/AIDS management, and aesthetic medicine.
THE DEPARTMENT’S MAIN TASKS:
- Offering high-quality education in dermatology, HIV/AIDS, dermatosurgery, and aesthetic medicine at advanced instructional and scientific levels;
- Training interns specializing in dermatology and related fields;
- Providing secondary specialization programs for physicians in dermatosurgery and aesthetic medicine;
- Implementing continuing education programs for professional development in dermatology;
- Developing clinical thinking and professional communication skills in students;
- Introducing students to the latest global advancements in dermatology and HIV/AIDS care;
- Involving students in scientific research with opportunities for publications and conference presentations.

Therapeutic-consultative work is a key component of the department's activities. Faculty members closely collaborate with healthcare institutions, actively involving students in clinical practice, consultations, and complex case discussions. This bridges the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, ensuring that students acquire a comprehensive, real-world understanding of dermatology and related disciplines.
